The Alaska Mile
The Alaska Mile is a long-range precision rifle competition in Willow, Alaska, challenging shooters in accuracy and precision wind reading, and adaptability across Alaska’s diverse terrain.
The three-day event begins Friday with an optional practice day on steel targets out to 1,500 yards. The mile targets remain closed on Friday to keep the competition fair. Saturday and Sunday feature two full days of competition. Click here for detailed course of fire information!
Shooters of all skill levels are welcome—whether competing for score or simply taking on the challenge. Spectators are welcome, there will be food available on site on Saturday and Sunday, and a covered viewing area providing a safe vantage point for the action.
More than a match, The Alaska Mile is an Alaska-sized challenge and a community event.
Remember: Alaska does everything bigger! Exact Alaska Mile Yardage will be announced the DAY OF competition.

Important Note: On one registration, you’re welcome to shoot the Alaska Mile multiple times (as time allows) but only your first run on the Mile platform will be scored.

Registration Fees
- Practice Pass $10 (Fri, or Sat/Sun non-competitors)
- Saturday Match Fee (AM or PM) $45
- Sunday Match Fee (AM or PM) $45
Saturday and Sunday match fees include a competitor meal.
