The Alaska Mile
The Alaska Mile is a long-range precision rifle competition hosted at Willow Creek Air Park. Shooters test their accuracy, wind reading, and adaptability against Alaska’s terrain. The event spans three days: a Friday practice session to get familiar with the course, followed by two full days of competition on Saturday and Sunday. The Alaska Mile welcomes shooters of every skill level, whether they’re competing for score or just there for the challenge. Spectators are welcome too, with a food tent and social area set up within safe viewing distance of the action, making it as much a community gathering as it is a match.

Important Note: You can register for and shoot more than one event over the weekend, but you’re only scored on the first event you shoot. Any additional sessions you enter are for fun and practice only, not competition. Choose your first event carefully if you’re shooting to compete.

- Sunday, October 4 — Match Day 10:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday and Sunday match fees include a competitor meal.
