This rifle training course delivers 16 hours of concentrated instruction that builds the skills and knowledge needed to achieve consistent impacts from 100 to 1000 yards, with an emphasis on 600 to 1000 yards as equipment and shooter ability allow. Training takes place in a safe, structured environment focused on the core principles behind repeatable long-range accuracy and precision.

  • Learn pre and post recoil control and shot spotting technique
  • Understanding ammo, external ballistics, and the data behind building and truing custom dope
  • Understand the factors most influential to precision and accuracy
  • Observe wind reading fundamentals in action, learn to make accurate wind calls and holds
  • Learn the practical applications for dialing or holding over for impacts at various distances
  • Practice adaptable skillsets that maintain relevance across conditions enforcing confident long range impacts
  • Prerequisites: Intermediate Bolt Rifle and Mid-Range Practical Bolt Rifle or equivalent courses

Day 1 – Birchwood Shooting Park 9am-4pm on A Range (330yards)
Day 2 – Upper Susitna Shooters Association Range 10am-6pm on the 1000yd range
