In this comprehensive course students will gain hands on training with a variety of less-lethal defense options. A helpful escalation of force outline and tips for honing the defensive mindset are expertly taught as we bring you interactive demos with pepper spray (inert), stun gun or TASER devices, and tutorials with striking devices, edged weapons, and impairment and alert mechanisms.
This course is held at Rabbit Creek Shooting Park in their Education Building – Classroom 1. If weather permits, inert pepper spray practice will be held outside in a lit area adjacent to the classroom. Bring a jacket! Active wear and comfortable footwear are advised for this course.
