Accurate Advantage hosts Churchill Armory to bring you the Alaska Concealed Weapons Permit

This is an entry level class for those who wish to obtain a concealed handgun permit from the State of Alaska.

Day 1:  students will be introduced to the basic knowledge, skills, and mindset essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding citizen’s right to self defense.

Day 2:  students will be introduced to basic marksmanship skills with the defensive handgun of their choice.  Students will practice physical handling, mechanics, carrying, transporting, storage, loading and unloading of handguns, including a live fire test of competence with a handgun.

Fingerprinting services will be available as well as instructions for submitting the final permit application to the State of Alaska.

Course Cost: $175 (does not include application fees)

Students will be issued and must pass a written test as well as a shooting proficiency test for course completion. Students must supply their own firearm – a sturdy belt, outside the waistband hip holster or an approved concealed carry holster, and magazine pouch are also required, but can be borrowed from Accurate Advantage for this course.
