Just For Kids –
A two hour course designed to introduce young shooters to firearm safety and handling. Laying a strong foundation of respect, safety absolutes, and proper technique now, ensures a lifetime of competence. Accurate Advantage seeks to remove the destructive potential of “the curiosity factor” giving youth a functional knowledge of the powerful potential and proper use of a firearm.
This beginning is the most vital part of a child’s firearm education; we are committed to helping lay that solid foundation and launching your child’s safe future with firearms. An evening interactive classroom session is followed by a hands-on range day as we encourage your young person to build safe habits and enjoy learning how to shoot

No age limit – physical ability to support the firearm required and attention span must be able to handle this active 2 hour session.
Students are responsible for their range fee ($9.00) and any ammo (email for price list) or gun rentals ($10.00) purchased from Accurate Advantage.
Required – Can be rented or purchased from AAAK
- Firearm: A rimfire rifle with a scope or open sights or a rimfire handgun
- 100 rounds factory ammunition
- Range appropriate clothing – closed toe shoes, a brimmed hat, long pants – no shorts please
- Water bottle, snacks, anything needed for several hours on an outdoor range
