DESCRIPTION:Seward Alaska!\nThis course is for anyone 21 or more years of age who wishes to obtain a concealed handgun permit from the State of Alaska. Permits currently include NICS exemption\, are currently reciprocal with 38 states\, and are valid for ~5 years\, expiring on your birthday in the 5th year. \nDay 1: With humor\, a lifetime of personal experience\, and an interactive format\, Accurate Advantage’s staff and a certified law enforcement officer coach students through the basic knowledge\, skill\, and mindset essential for lawful and effective firearm use for protection of self and family. Time flies when you’re having fun and learning from scenarios that actually happened encourages a more applicable understanding. Join us to learn about the law-abiding citizen’s right to justified self-defense. Classroom training on SIRT Laser pistols allows familiarity with presentations from a holster\, proper grip\, stance\, and sight picture giving you an advantage prior to the range qualification on day two. \nDay 2: Click HERE for more info about range day \nWhat: CHP Classroom – Day 1\nWhen: Saturday\, March 30th\nTime: 10:00am-6:00pm\nLocation: Seward Fire House (Driving directions linked HERE)\nClassroom towards the rear of the building\, follow the signs\nAND\nWhat: CHP Range – Day 2\nWhen: Sunday\, March 31st\nTime: 1:00pm-5:00pm\nLocation: Iron Mountain Gun Club – Directions emailed specifically\, Seward Alaska\nRange: 50 yard Range \nRound Count: 150-200 centerfire only (no rimfire)\nStudents will be issued and must pass a written test as well as a shooting proficiency test for course completion.  \nStudents are encouraged to bring a gun they already own. Firearms from our rental fleet will be provided if a personal gun becomes unusable or if fit and function difficulties are effecting safety.\nA sturdy belt\, outside the waistband hip holster or an approved concealed carry holster\, and magazine pouch are also required\, but can be borrowed from Accurate Advantage for this course.

DESCRIPTION:Accurate Advantage hosts Churchill Armory to bring you the Alaska Concealed Handgun Permit\nThis is a course for those who wish to obtain a concealed handgun permit from the State of Alaska.
