DESCRIPTION:Accurate Advantage hosts Churchill Armory to bring you the Alaska Concealed Weapons Permit\nThis is an entry level class for those who wish to obtain a concealed handgun permit from the State of Alaska. \nDay 1:  students will be introduced to the basic knowledge\, skills\, and mindset essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family\, and to provide information on the law-abiding citizen’s right to self defense. \nDay 2:  students will be introduced to basic marksmanship skills with the defensive handgun of their choice.  Students will practice physical handling\, mechanics\, carrying\, transporting\, storage\, loading and unloading of handguns\, including a live fire test of competence with a handgun. \nFingerprinting services will be available as well as instructions for submitting the final permit application to the State of Alaska.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat: CWP Classroom – Day 1\nWhen: Friday\, September 13th\nTime: 3:00pm-9:00pm\nLocation: Rabbit Creek Shooting Park (Click HERE for Driving Directions)\nClassroom: Hunter’s Education Building Classroom 2\nAND\nWhat: CWP Range – Day 2\nWhen: Sunday\, September 15th\nTime: 2:00pm-8:00pm\nLocation: Birchwood Shooting Park (Click HERE for Driving Directions)\nRange: F-Range\nCourse Cost: $175 (does not include application fees) \nStudents will be issued and must pass a written test as well as a shooting proficiency test for course completion. We assist\, but let each youth work through each of these elements on their own to give an overview of the total shooter responsibility from start to finish.
