Rifle Training Course Overview
This rifle training course delivers 16 hours of concentrated instruction that builds the skills and knowledge needed to achieve consistent impacts from 100 to 1000 yards, with an emphasis on 600 to 1000 yards as equipment and shooter ability allow. Training takes place in a safe, structured environment focused on the core principles behind repeatable long-range accuracy and precision.
Students will develop effective process and helpful checklists as they learn pre and post recoil control, proper shot spotting technique and a solid understanding of external ballistics and the data required to build and true their own custom dope. Instruction highlights the key factors that influence precision and accuracy, giving shooters the ability to analyze and improve their performance after every shot.
A major component of this rifle training course is wind reading, where shooters learn to make accurate calls and apply correct holds under real conditions. Participants also gain practical experience in dialing vs. holding over for impacts at various distances and in applying adaptable skills that support confident long-range impacts across a variety of environments.

You need the proper gear to get the most from this course. Bring a centerfire rifle in at least 6mm or .243 caliber and sight it in at 100 yards. Your optic must have subtensions and an external elevation turret. You also need 200 rounds of ammo, a sturdy bipod or sandbag, and a ballistic calculator. We offer limited rentals and loaner gear, including spotting scopes, shooting mats, and premium bolt rifles.
