If you’re new to the game\, you will be introduced to common PRS style props and how to shoot from them. If you’re familiar with the game of PRS\, you’ll have the opportunity to hone your skills and prep for upcoming matches. \nBRSP Members can join free of charge!\nNon-Members: $15 guest pass \nRegister by calling Birchwood: (907) 688-2809 \nEach night will focus on a different core skill and common PRS prop. The PRS Barricade will also be available\, a consistent prop at every PRS match usually as the tie breaker stage. Learn to master it! \n100 yard paper zero targets are available and steel targets are located between 318-330 yards. Rimfires can request mid range targets (keep in mind all rounds must impact the berm. DESCRIPTION:More Information and Registration Linked HERE \n\n\nRange Location: MP 174 Parks Highway Alaska ( near Cantwell\, Alaska) \nWelcome to the 2025 NRL Hunter ALASKAN WILDERNESS HUNTER. \nThis match is located in the rugged foothills of the Alaska Range\, under the shadow of Denali and will provide realistic hunting scenarios from natural terrain in this region. You can expect heavy brush with angled slopes and gorgeous views. This time of year Alaska will be reaching the peak of the summer solstice offering nearly 24 hrs of daylight. With temperatures ranging from the mid 20s-60s with snow pack just above our match location. We highly suggest packing layers. \nThe firing line will be on a trail east of the highway\, approximately 2/3 of a mile from the highway. Expect approximately 400’ of elevation gain across the course. Travel from parking to the firing line will be by foot. We will be shooting in a 180-degree field of fire with the no-shoot zone paralleling the highway. Expect targets from 15yd – 1\,000yd along a 3-mile-long firing line. Moderate hiking will be required. \nThe Match Zero Range will be open for a limited amount of time on Saturday (RSOs have their own window)\, if you feel you’ll want more than a few rounds for confirmation\, we strongly suggest you stop along the way to the match to zero – see below for convenient range options. Power factor will be checked (if necessary) in this same window. \nMatch Parking: There is a pull-off on the left (west) side of the highway just before the Hurricane Gulch Bridge. Just north of the bridge will be a signed lot for parking. Additional parking will be available along the highway. \nCheck-in: A tent will be set up in the parking lot just north of the bridge\, serving as the check-in and banquet location. This will serve as a base of operations for the match. \nRange Officers: We are seeking experienced RO’s. If you’d like the opportunity to compete and work as a stage RO for the match\, please complete the RO Application (TBD). With temperatures ranging from the mid 20s-60s with snow pack just above our match location. We highly suggest packing layers. \nThe firing line will be on a trail east of the highway\, approximately 2/3 of a mile from the highway. Expect approximately 400’ of elevation gain across the course. Travel from parking to the firing line will be by foot. We will be shooting in a 180-degree field of fire with the no-shoot zone paralleling the highway. Expect targets from 15yd – 1\,000yd along a 3-mile-long firing line. Moderate hiking will be required. \nThe Match Zero Range will be open for a limited amount of time on Saturday (RSOs have their own window)\, if you feel you’ll want more than a few rounds for confirmation\, we strongly suggest you stop along the way to the match to zero – see below for convenient range options. Power factor will be checked (if necessary) in this same window. \nMatch Parking: There is a pull-off on the left (west) side of the highway just before the Hurricane Gulch Bridge.
