SUMMARY:Mid Range Practical Rifle - Day 2 - OPEN
DESCRIPTION:This course seeks to equip you with practical bolt action rifle skills preparing you to place consistent\, accurate shot groups at distances ranging from 100-600 yards. We utilize time proven technique and field proven wisdom to assure accurate performance at various yardages in a variety of compromised positions preparing the hunter\, the target shooter\, or the competitor for repetitive accuracy. \nThis course includes two shooting sessions: the first session covers safety foundations\, optics basics\, platform technique\, sight In and velocity check\, basic internal / external ballistics\, bolt fundamentals\, calibrating “hunting accuracy” for your rifle at 100-200 yards\, fast acquisition pressure training\, positional shooting and wraps up with dry fire homework. DESCRIPTION:This informative and practical course will take you through every element you’ll find necessary when building a solid foundation of safety and function with the carbine platform. From that foundation\, we’ll challenge your skills on paper and steel from point blank out to 150 yards using dynamic drills that stretch you mentally and physically towards competence. DESCRIPTION:In this intense course we conquer the intricacies of repeatable hits at distance. Curriculum covers 100 – 1000yards\,  focusing on 600-1000 yards for most students as equipment and fundamentals allow. \nBring your A Game and an open mind as we tackle subjects including safety\, platform absolutes\, proper shot spotting technique\, understanding ammo\, external ballistics\, factors of precision and accuracy\, atmospherics\, calculating\, proving and truing DOPE\, reading wind\, dialing and hold overs\, stressed shooting\, and more! Example\, 5x25x\, 7x35x\, etc\nOptic can be MIL or MOA but must have a reticle with subtensions\, AND the optic must be equipped with an external turret that can be adjusted incrementally for elevation.
