Prerequisite: This course requires the attendee to possess a solid foundation of bolt rifle operation, accuracy, and precision from a benchrest position. Accurate Advantage’s Basic Bolt rifle 101 grads (within a year) or BOW Intro to Bolt Rifle grads (within a year) may qualify, contact us for details!
Basic Positional Rifle – 50-100 yards
4 hours of dynamic training helping you conquer accuracy and precision with a bolt rifle OFF THE BENCH! This is a fantastic course if you plan to hunt, would like to take existing bolt rifle skills to the next level, or plan to compete in NRL, PRS, or multi-gun sports,
– Sight In check / Scope adjustment – Benchrest
– Building a shooter’s platform OFF THE BENCH! Mechanics of body support
– Basic Positional Shooting in several common field style positions
– Basic Ballistics – understand accuracy and how to achieve consistency
– Heart rate / trigger control under pressure
– Tripod shooting – effectiveness and benefits
Required Equipment:
Centerfire scoped rifles ARE PROVIDED – feel free to shoot a variety of the provided options, or bring your own to learn your own system!
– (if you’re not using our rifles) Bring: Bolt action Rifle and the magazine(s) if applicable
– 40 rounds of factory loaded ammo
– Range and weather appropriate clothing layers, sturdy footwear,
