Get ready for a hunt\, prep for an upcoming competition\, or take existing skills to the next level – Whatever your goals might be\, Join us for this informative class!\nIn this course we focus more on the trigger puller and the tools\, specifically the optic\, encouraging your platform to support impacts at distance\, and advancing your comfort and knowledge of your tools to better serve you on the range or in the field. \nIn this course we mix bench rest precision with the challenges of positional shooting from tripods and common field props to further your field skills and advance your shooting capabilities. We offer a red light / green light understanding of guaranteed impacts\, further supporting consistent accuracy and precision. \n\n\n\n– Sight In check – optics optimization\n\n\n– Building a shooter’s platform / Basic accuracy to 300 yards\n– Building and proving DOPE for your rifle 100-300 yards\n\n\n– Intermediate Ballistics – understanding bullet drop at distance\n– Basics of atmospherics\, what most effects your accuracy and precision\n– Wind reading\, basics of effective wind holds\n– MIL / MOA dial or hold over for hits at distance\n\n\n– Heart Rate Stress Test and accuracy after effort\n\n\n\n\n\nPrerequisite: Basic Bolt Rifle or equivalent experience (training does not have to have been through Accurate Advantage). SUMMARY:Kodiak Concealed Carry Course - Day 2
DESCRIPTION:Hosted in Partnership with Kodiak Tactical\, register in store\, or visit us online. \nThis course is for anyone 21 or more years of age who wishes to obtain a concealed handgun permit from the State of Alaska. Permits currently include NICS exemption\, are currently reciprocal with 38 states\, and are valid for ~5 years\, expiring on your birthday in the 5th year. \n\n\nDay 1: Click HERE for more info about classroom day \nDay 2: Through a series of scenario-based drills\, students will refresh basic marksmanship skills and will develop and demonstrate safe and effective firearm handling. Presentation and recovery from and back to a holster\, efficient reloads\, and effective malfunction clearing are learned as platform mastery is encouraged.
