DESCRIPTION:Beyond Concealed Carry\nSunday\, November 10th 2pm-5pm\nBirchwood Recreation and Shooting Park\nHave you chosen to live a protected lifestyle or are you seeking to add firearms to your daily life?\nThis is for you! \nJoin us for this informative afternoon supporting responsible concealed carry! \nTopics covered in this training: \n\n– Safety overview\, event outline\, expectations for safe participation\n– Hear first-hand a law enforcement officer’s perspective of responsible concealed carry\n– Your concealed carry questions answered – ask the panel\n\nRoom Splits – His and Hers rooms promote context-specific learning \n\n– Overview of the most common carry locations\, pros and cons\n– Expectations for safe presentations and holster recovery\n– Organized\, instructor-led dry fire practice from concealment\n– Cover garment and jacket / coat clearing techniques\n– Haven’t yet found the right carry option? Come try dozens of top holster brands – jump into the dry fire drills to test different holster systems and carry styles.\n– Competition with NLT’s Laser SIRT system – test your practice against the clock – safety\, speed and accuracy from concealment are awarded!\n\nPlease Bring (If Applicable): \n\n– Personal Firearms are encouraged but must be downloaded\, double checked by AAAK staff on arrival. All magazines must be empty. No exceptions.\n– Personal carry system(s) = Holsters\, bags\, carry clothing\, etc.\n– An example or two of daily wear that you’d like to try with a variety of holster systems – Restrooms are available on site for discreet outfit changes.\n– Your concealed carry questions! Think through them and write them down so we can address them in class. The only stupid questions are the ones not asked\n\nCost: $50 individual\, $80 couple’s discount  – attend together for a his/ hers approach to concealed carry \n  \nHaving a current Concealed Handgun Permit  is not required – Previous concealed carry experience is helpful\, but not required. \nSee you there!
