Handgun 401 is advanced handgun training and a capstone handgun course that brings shooters to the leading edge of their defensive skills.
This training goes beyond previous levels through the requirement of a rigorous proficiency test, demanding a pistol competency protocol drill score of 35 or better, and an accompanying precision target qualification. Admission requires our Advanced Handgun 301 and demonstration of advanced handgun proficiency. Participants train through twelve hours packed with live-fire drills and challenging scenarios. Dynamic stages stress situational awareness through the use of reactive targets, movement, and split-second shoot or don’t shoot decisions. Shooters must operate under physical and mental pressure while consistently demonstrating safe, efficient gun handling.
